EDWIN have been crafting their own denim since 1961 and each decade since has been marked by rule breaking.
They made the world’s heaviest jeans in the 60s, turned workwear into style in the 70s and invented stone washing in the 80s. In the 90's, the brand began replicating vintage washes; a bold move that looked back to move forward. This dedication to both legacy and evolution has defined EDWIN ever since.
Today, the "Made in Japan" Collection retains the proud traditions of premium Japanese workmanship and is available in three easy fits: Classic Regular Tapered, Classic Slim Tapered and Modern Regular Tapered in an assortment of washes and fabrics, direct from the much respected Kaihara and Nihon Menpu mills in the country’s Okayama prefecture.
A respect for this tradition and a dedication to disruption is embedded in the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection with a selection of European produced pieces featuring icons of Japanese culture, reimagined in bold pop art prints.
