For Autumn/Winter 2026, EDWIN approaches checked shirting through texture and proportion. From substantial flannels to lightweight madras, familiar patterns take on a different character through the fabrics and shapes that carry them.

The Julius Shirt puts texture first. Its soft, hairy check fabric brings depth to both colourways, while an oversized fit leaves room for layering. Twin chest pockets and buttoned cuffs keep the details straightforward.
The Work Shirt from the JAPAN collection looks to classic workwear, pairing heavy flannel with a regular fit. Available in Blue/Green and Red/Black, it retains the practical details of its reference point, with two chest pockets, military-style buttons and the EDWIN Sun label at the hem.

For a lighter layer, the OPC Shirt brings an open collar and generous proportions to madras checks. Available in two colourways, its relaxed shape works just as well buttoned up as worn open over a T-shirt.

Rounding out the selection, the Ace Shirt pairs soft cotton flannel with an oversized silhouette. Its black-and-grey palette offers a quieter approach to the pattern, adding warmth and texture without taking over the rest of an outfit.
