MADE IN JAPAN

Using carefully selected fabrics from the most revered Japanese denim mills such as Nihon Menpu, Kaihara, Kurabo and Kuroki, the six key styles from EDWIN are offered in a wide range of selvedge denim, speciality fabrics and recycled fibres, all available in various weights and applied washes.

Setting the standard for future collections, the balanced collection of 5-pocket cuts showcases authentic tailoring, paying attention to our denim tradition with a commitment to progression.

All jeans are produced, treated and finished in our very own factory in Japan.

The Autumn/Winter 2023 Collection also includes a workwear-inspired theme including the Work Shirt in two autumnal colourways alongside the Work Pant made from 12oz Yoshiko left-hand denim with the addition of oversized front and back pockets. Taking inspiration from vintage labour pants with a classic tapered fit, they are finished with pocket sheeting, a taped waistband for a polished look and an extra high hem at the bottom, reminiscent of classic workwear.

The Wide Trouser is a logical follow-up to the popular Wide Pant that was introduced earlier in the year. The chino twill version features classic side pockets and welt back pockets and is made of a carefully selected midweight left-hand twill, providing a very soft handle.

Completing the collection, the staple hoods, tees and sweats have been reworked in two fresh new colours including blaze red and light lavender and both given an ozone wash for that lived-in look. Created using 100% cotton from the Maruwa textile mill, established in 1948 in the Nishiwaki region close to Osaka.
