Robert Beatty

SS23

Robert Beatty is a Lexington, Kentucky based artist and musician known primarily for his prolific work in the field of contemporary album cover artwork. Robert has designed well over 100 record covers for the likes of Tame Impala, Kesha, The Flaming Lips, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Weeknd and countless others.

Beatty’s illustration work has been featured in publications as diverse as Lucky Peach, Surfer Magazine, Wired, The Oxford American, The New Republic, and the New York Times.

Beatty has worked on a selection of graphics for the Spring/Summer Collection featuring his own distinctive pre-digital style, combining old-school elements with new techniques, creating a series of surreal images that are difficult to pin down.

Hard to define – Beatty doesn’t like to define his output, preferring the work to speak for itself and individual interpretations to arise.

Following Beatty’s example, take from his illustrations whatever comes to mind – there are four unique designs to choose from, spanning short-sleeved T-Shirts, long-sleeved Tees and a black crew neck Sweat.
