Across Japan’s towns and cities, thousands of posters incite the public to denounce and report even the most minor crimes. For Spring/Summer 2023 ‘Cover the Thieves’ takes a lighthearted stand, depicting how life might look on the B-Side.

Parodying the posters with calls for less surveillance and more freedom, the range of apparel and accessories looks out for the thieves themselves. 

Featuring across a selection of classic EDWIN silhouettes in white, tan, and deep blue, the mix of English and Japanese slogans are witty, satirical, and unruly. 

Fittingly, the capsule also comprises a webcam cover, complete with the collection’s anti-CCTV motif.
