14OZ RED LISTED SELVAGE DENIM

This Red Listed 14 oz selvedge denim produced in Japan since 1970, by Kurabo. In 1973, Kurabo started manufacturing and selling “KD-55”, 

KD-55 is authentic Japanese vintage denim that maintains the reddish blue colour and a special uneven character after washing, which was indicative of its time and revolutionized our industry.

12.6OZ YOSHIKO LEFT HAND DENIM

Weight: 12.6 oz.

Features: Sturdy, Soft hand-feel 

This Japanese fabric is woven in a Left-hand twill, a so-called S-Twill is woven in the exact opposite direction as Right-hand twill (the most common way to weave denim). Starting from the bottom right and moving up to the top left of the fabric. Because the yarns are weaved the other way around it gives you a softer hand feel. The result: more comfortable but still a tough fabric! The fabric is dipped seven times in 100% pure indigo.

12.8OZ YUUKI BLUE DENIM

Content: 98% Cotton 2% CS 
Features: Soft, comfortable. 

CS stands for Comfort Stretch which means the fabric consists of 2% stretch. Still, this fabric is a sturdy stretch denim that has been dyed in 100% indigo. The Advantage of using 100% indigo is, that after many washes, the colour always remains in the nice blue colour we know to love.

A lightweight Japanese Comfort Stretch fabric we mainly use for our mainline Jeans or Jackets. Dipped four times in pure black Sulfur for its rich black colour.

13.4OZ KAGUYA SELVAGE BLACK DENIM

Content: 100% Cotton 
Features: Heavy, Sturdy, Rainbow Selvage

A real classic. This one fabric is made of a mix of cotton from America/Brazil/Greece. It has been dipped four times in Pure Black Sulfur for a deep black result.

A classic Ripstop fabric made of 100% Cotton. During weaving, reinforcement yarns are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern. This gives the fabric its strength and durability, as well as its characteristics. 

CORDUROY 11 WALES
Weight: 7.5oz

Content: 100% Cotton 
Features: Durable, soft hand-feel 

Corduroy is widely considered a durable cloth. The Wale (the number of ridges per inch) stands for the width of the cord. The lower the wale number, the thicker the ridges in the fabric are. You can find this fabric used for several different styles throughout the collection in seasonal colour options.

JAPANESE LIGHT BLUE DENIM

Features: Light hand feel, Breathable 

A 100% Japanese cotton plain-weave fabric made with a dyed warp yarn and a white filling yarn. While it may look like denim, chambray is lighter and is woven differently. It has a softer texture than regular denim and is thinner in construction, which makes it a perfect fabric for our Spring/Summer.

Features: Slubby texture, Rainbow Selvage, Soft hand feel.

Nihon Menpu Mills is one of Japan’s manufactures of denim that produce the highest quality of denim from the land of the rising sun. The Zimbabwean cotton used for the fabric is regarded as one of the best kinds of cotton to be used for a natural slubby yarn in denim. Nihon Menpu does all of their dying in-house as well and has used Pure Indigo for the dye, resulting in a slubby texture with a soft-hand feel.

Denim in his pure raw state. Due to not dying the warp thread (top thread) in the fabric, you get this natural off-white looking fabric that still feels like denim because it actually is, but without the indigo dying. The bright natural colour in is topped off with our signature Rainbow Selvage lining.
