12.6OZ YOSHIKO LEFT HAND DENIM

Features: Sturdy, Soft hand-feel
This Japanese fabric is woven in a Left-hand twill, a so-called S-Twill is woven in the exact opposite direction as Right-hand twill (the most common way to weave denim). Starting from the bottom right and moving up to the top left of the fabric. Because the yarns are weaved the other way around it gives you a softer hand feel. The result: more comfortable but still a tough fabric! The fabric is dipped seven times in 100% pure indigo.

Features: Soft, comfortable.
CS stands for Comfort Stretch which means the fabric consists of 2% stretch. Still, this fabric is a sturdy stretch denim that has been dyed in 100% indigo. The Advantage of using 100% indigo is, that after many washes, the colour always remains in the nice blue colour we know to love.

A real classic. This one fabric is made of a mix of cotton from America/Brazil/Greece. It has been dipped four times in Pure Black Sulfur for a deep black result.
BACK SATEEN

Features: Durable but with a soft hand-feel
A strong fabric, constructed in a satin weave and made of 100% Cotton. This results in a softer hand-feel but still makes it a durable fabric. The satin weave gives the fabric a slight glow that you wouldn't otherwise achieve with a regular plain weave and is predominately used for our military inspired programme.

This fabric is made of wide-ridged 8-wale corduroy that gives the fabric a more casual feel. It's produced by a French, family-owned factory that was established in 1828. It's finished with a light stonewash for a vintage feel.

A seasonal fabric made of military inspired heavyweight 100% Cotton Canvas. It has been fabric dyed first and then roll-printed with an exclusively developed print for EDWIN. This fabric has been developed in two colour options ''CAMO GRASS'' and ''BLUE SMOKE''. This season we've used it for our classic Military inspired styles including the ''SURVIVAL JACKET'' and the ''MANOEUVRE PANT''.

You can find this soft and warm fabric used for our multicoloured ''HIJI CARDIGAN''.
ALPACA JACQUARD KNIT

Features: Warm, soft hand-feel, exclusive EDWIN EUROPE Fabric.
Alpaca fleece is the natural fibre harvested from an Alpaca.
They are shorn once a year in spring. After shearing, the fleece is roughly cleaned, sorted according to colour, Carded and cleaned of filth and impurities. Now it's ready to be processed. This season we used a combination of synthetic fibres and Superfine Alpaca wool throughout our Knitwear collection for instance our ''COLIN SWEATER'' and ''RONI CREW SWEATER''.

Nihon Menpu Mills is one of Japan’s manufactures of denim that produce the highest quality of denim from the land of the rising sun. The Zimbabwean cotton used for the fabric is regarded as one of the best kinds of cotton to be used for a natural slubby yarn in denim. Nihon Menpu does all of their dying in-house as well and has used Pure Indigo for the dye, resulting in a slubby texture with a soft-hand feel.
