Their exhibition program carefully curates a rich tapestry of visual arts, encompassing paintings, graphics, and photography. Within this thriving artistic hub, LAID BUG’s studio flourishes, serving as the sacred haven for the esteemed graphic designer and longtime EDWIN collaborator Toshifumi Kiuchi.

A key member of the SLEEPINGTOKYO creators and independent since 2013, his love of design and culture started at an early age enabling him to work without boundaries across a wide variety of media spanning from major corporations to underground club flyers.

Going beyond design and exhibitions, LAID BUG embarks on exhilarating ventures, publishing books, crafting soul-stirring records, cultivating fruitful collaborations with renowned apparel brands and esteemed retail institutions, transcending boundaries, and fusing art, music, and fashion.

This capsule collection has been made in collaboration with several artists from the LAID BUG line-up, bringing together an eclectic mix of designs.

The floral graphic Tee by Nico Ito highlights her fantastical imagination and surrealist charm while Yusuke Isao has incorporated his sculpture-making into some fresh abstract graphics for a monochrome T-Shirt and Hoodie.

Japanese artist, BIEN who creates paintings and installations based on his unique drawing style is influenced by street culture, animation, and toy figures and has contributed to the collection with abstract artwork that dominates the tee in bright blue and green.

Finally, Yushi Arimura's photography caps off the collection with his meticulously captured image that has become the focal point of the collection as a bold allover printed shirt for Spring/Summer 2024.
