Known as one of the forefathers of Japanese erotica, Toshio Saeki (1945-2019) created an undeniably influential and complicated body of work that blended erotic themes, humour and ghoulish horror. Accessing the darkest depths of his subconscious, he was able to create authentic nightmare scenarios without boundaries that vividly depict what went on in his head as soon as he closed his eyes.
Once the best known erotic artist in Tokyo, Saeki still has a passionate fanbase spread across the globe and remains a legitimate legend of underground culture. For Spring/Summer 2022, EDWIN have applied Saeki's iconic work to a variety of key pieces from the collection including the Drizzler Jacket complete with detailed embroidery making it a real statement piece, alongside a matching all-over printed shirt and shorts combo, complemented by the subtle Belted Pant featuring the Japanese illustrator's signature and finished nicely with three graphics T-Shirts.
